clear ahead
walking
somewhat blindly
taking guidance
along the same road
listening for freedom
the path now seems clear
who's lending a hand?
pray tell

Unseen
you are only afraid
because
I know your secrets
also time tells you so
lonely secrets
are shared
some try to let go
I was a secret and then I was known
for my hiding
was secret
in public
oh no
you have a public
your secrets unseen
the past is no secret
this path has no past
if dying
to set secrets free
is keeping you scared
tell only the living
maybe
the ones that don't care
because
I know your secrets
also time tells you so
lonely secrets
are shared
some try to let go
I was a secret and then I was known
for my hiding
was secret
in public
oh no
you have a public
your secrets unseen
the past is no secret
this path has no past
if dying
to set secrets free
is keeping you scared
tell only the living
maybe
the ones that don't care

Shoot doggie
In the midst of a photo shoot involving "man's best friend". Let's see - I see little Mikey and there's little Lizzie and...
This scene caused me to recall the following sayings:
(a) "you will have your day in the sun"
(b) "as sick as a dog"
(c) "every dog has it's day"
I suppose "in the sun" from saying (a) could always be added to the end of saying (c) creating a more all encompassing saying (d) "every dog has it's day in the sun". In fact we could go further and combine all the sayings and create saying (e) "every sick dog or person as sick as a one will have their day in the sun". Now, why would anyone want to do that? Why indeed?
