Shoot doggie

In the midst of a photo shoot involving "man's best friend". Let's see - I see little Mikey and there's little Lizzie and...

This scene caused me to recall the following sayings:

(a) "you will have your day in the sun"

(b) "as sick as a dog"

(c) "every dog has it's day"

I suppose "in the sun" from saying (a) could always be added to the end of saying (c) creating a more all encompassing saying (d) "every dog has it's day in the sun". In fact we could go further and combine all the sayings and create saying (e) "every sick dog or person as sick as a one will have their day in the sun". Now, why would anyone want to do that? Why indeed?

Damsel on top

Although small in size, I'm certain that this little creature feels quite stable and secure. Control is not a factor for this damselfly, it simply exists and understands nature.
